Social Media Marketing (TR-SM-2024-04)
Job description:
We are hiring a motivated social media marketer to provide in-house graphic support to create and deliver compelling design solutions for the web, social media, print collateral, and promotional items. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, a fast learner, tech-savvy, and a team player with clean, simple, and engaging visual aesthetics. Must demonstrate creative, technical, and organizational skills consistently aligned to the expectations of our Creative Director and Marketing Team. As a Social Media Coordinator. you will be responsible for the marketing activities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Business, LinkedIn, our/customers’ websites, press releases, interviews and marketing materials. This may be for various clients as you will be the client’s voice in the online community.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of the brand strategy
- Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products for the social media pages you would be managing
- Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
- Posting/promoting current posts on a regular basis
- Manage Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities
- Curate relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers
- Create, curate, and manage all published content
- Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
- Reach out to relevant influencers to build relationships with content creators
- Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog)
- Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns
- Compile report for management showing results (ROI)
- Create and manage ad campaigns on different social media platforms
- Engage in dialogues and answer questions for the company in social media spaces, where appropriate
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the business
- Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results and report notable threats to appropriate management
- Craft and send our monthly newsletter
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary School/College degree
- Experience with the latest in social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google) and using them to promote a business
- Graphic Design Experience and a visual aesthetic
- Able to juggle and prioritize many tasks at once
- You have direct experience either managing a business’s social media presence or building one of your own (your own social media following)
- Curious and passionate: Always looking to learn new things
- You are self-directed, self-motivated, and scrappy (if you don’t know how to do something, you aren’t afraid to research and learn a new skill)
- Experience using media editing software
Salary:
- The salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate
