Job description:
We are seeking Software Developers to design, develop, and implement special projects in Digital Health. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial mindset, a fearless attitude, and a passion to take software technology to the next level.
We are looking to add a Software Developer to the marketing department located at the University of Manitoba Smart Park, where the candidate should work. In this role, you will be tasked with assisting our marketing and sales team to design websites and promotional material.
Requirements:
The candidate will have the following credentials and skills:
- Have a strong command of C# and Python programming
- Be familiar with machine learning and data-driven analysis
- Have knowledge of building mobile apps using React Native or Xamarin
- Experience in designing SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in building web services.
Duties:
- Collaborating with our partners at different universities
- Translating the end-user feedback to engineering language for our R&D department
- Participating in technical meetings
- Continuously test, debug, profile, analyze, and optimize applicable hardware and software
- Developing software on a range of platforms, including Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and Arduino
- Researching the possibilities of virtual reality using WPF
- Cross-technology problem solving
- Contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Participating in an agile workflow using tools like Jira, Gitlab, Slack and Notion
Salary:
